Quiet time sitting with the sun streaming through the window, spinning with babe asleep in my arms while Mark and the older three boys went out. So quiet and so special to tune in to the rhythmic sound of a sleeping babe's breathing and the gentle whirring of the wheel. Soul music...

What a treat to have some wild foods growing already. I had to look up ramsons because I didn't know what they were - how fun to find out they are a type of wild garlic.
