Little Noah celebrated his 5th birthday in August. He wanted a meerkat cake this year. He was delighted!
The rest of August was such a chaotic month with so much to wrap up before we left to live in Zimbabwe. Friends and family to say goodbye to. We gave away or sold nearly all of our possessions - furniture and cars - which was a very freeing experience. Shipping costs were way too much so we shipped only what we could manage - 6 small boxes. One box contained Mark's Mac computer, one box contained my spinning wheel, and the other four boxes books for the boys. We fitted what else we could into our suitcases and off we flew at the end of August to make a new start in Africa.
