Sol is making a bowl at his woodwork group. He is really enjoying woodwork and he is putting so much enthusiasm and hard work into creating this bowl.
A beautiful insect on a rose. Such colours!
Noah found a little caterpiller he anted to keep. He kept it in a jar and fed it nettles. We watched it transform into a crysalis and lots of days later his butterfly emerged. When it was ready to fly, we took it outside and watched as it flew way up high...the power in those new, delicate wings..incredible.
For the first time, we have found lesser stag beetles in our garden. Two so far! Always new discoveries to be made in nature.
Sol's bowl is wonderful, he must have put so much work and care into making it.
ReplyDeleteWe keep finding beetles with the most amazing vibrant colours too, golds and greens and bronze, so lovely to spot.
Mia has just seen these pictures and now wants to hatch a butterfly too.

I love the bugs! What kind of wood in Sol working with to make his bowl? He is doing a marvelous job! I hope you will share a picture of it when it is finished.
