Special things we want to show you

Soon after Jediah was born each of his brothers were excited to show him something which was special to each of them along our regular daily route..

Sol wanted to show him the white flower 'snow' of the blackthorn blossom falling softly around us as we walked along the hedgerow.



Leo wanted to show him King Alfred cakes growing abundantly along the trunk of a particular tree in the woods.



Noah wanted to show him dandelions and their fairies.



Mostly little Jediah was blissfully asleep in his sling, but oh, his brothers' excitement to share their special somethings!

    Oh, how lovely, how full of love they are for their baby brother. I love that they all wanted to show him wonderful things from nature.

    What sweet & sharing big brothers they are! I love how children get so attached to particular gifts of nature. My girls have a favorite giant oak that is hundreds of years old and we call her Mrs. Oak. There is also a twin oak (two trunks on one tree) and then their favorite "Purple Tree!" which is a plumb tree which has purplish leaves. On our walks, they always have to rush to her and hug her and tell her how much they love her and it's hard to drag them away. That's always marveled me :D So lovely to see the boys favorites!!!!

    So so sweet! Just how my girls would be, which is probably why they beg us to have another baby all the time. They don't beg for anything, ever, except a baby!
