Ice

Yesterday was the first night dear old Jack Frost made a visit this season. We awoke to ice and frosty chill everywhere.

We rushed out to play.

To crunch through the puddles.

To touch and admire all things beautiful about ice.

To shift the mud and sail ice rafts down streams.

Our dog, Chico, also loves to play and crunch up the ice.

  7. Mud, mud, beautiful mud! And ice is so fun to stomp, crack, throw, float. When the ground on our back terrace is thick with ice I give my little boy a hammer. He has a wonderful time pulverizing the ice! Beth
