Epiphany

Here, we look forward to this final festive day in the Christmas season - Epiphany - 6 Jan.  The three kings arrive bearing gifts for the Christ child.  Caspar wears green, Balhazar wears blue and Melchior wears red.  The two older boys are in awe with these wise kings.  On this day of celebration, we enjoy King's cake which we bake with cherries and nuts and this year I added three beans - one for each child to discover in the cake.  I made three felt crowns in green, blue and red so each child could play at being king. My role -  the royal servant!
