Sweet new silkie chicks growing so quickly. We have grey, partridge and a single golden silkie.
Primroses peeking out here and there in the meadows and besides the brook.
Loving spring flowers. The snowdrops have just passed, crocuses still looking so beautiful and our daffodils starting to open. We planted so many in the autumn and it feels so good to see them flower.
We have a merry bunch of stick insects. They were so tiny when we first got them as babies. They have moulted maybe three times already and are so much bigger already. This one has just shed it's skin!
And peeking under logs, we see that the insect world is awakening. My boys spent ages yesterday afternoon lying on the grass watching two sluggish bumblebees on the crocuses, filling themselves up with plant and sun goodness.
Warm sun! Warm enough to shed off those layers and enjoy a good water splash!
All the early joys of Spring.

Oh, I love it! That dark yellow daffodil is gorgeous. And the final shot is adorable--I can't believe it's *that* warm! Oops, can't forget about the chicks--oh my! I would love a chance to hold a baby chick.
