We have noticed so many incredible mushrooms on our wanders this autumn. How I love fungi! The boys found these incredible shaggy inkcaps in a field on this farm. There were other varieties growing in the same field too and even a little elf sitting amongst the mushrooms.

oh my, i loved seeing your photographs! i love fungi and you found some beauties. the ink caps are a bit beyond eating, but so awesome to see and that fairy circle and elf... well that is a real treat!

ReplyDeleteOh my what a field of magic..We loved Mushrooms down here too. This is a dream come true for my children. We search for fungi everywhere and spot them mostly after the rains.

how intriguing. I've never seen such a supply of wild mushrooms before. then again, I live in a city. the only mushrooms we see are on the grass from the manure fertilizers we put on it.
