Snow - beautiful winter wonderland

We have had such beautiful snow falling this week.

We have been out walking and playing. The first days were grey and heavy with snowflakes.

One day, we saw a beautiful stag run into the middle of a field, stop, listen and then swiftly dash off.

Since then, bright days with glistening snow shimmering like crystals. The woods look particularly beautiful. As we walk through, it is incredibly silent and we almost expect the snow queen to ride past us.

Pigs in the snow!

  4. So pretty! We've been enjoying the snow here in ohio too. I love the first few snow falls, but it sure is cold! Seems to get colder as I get older; don't remember feeling the cold when I was little.
