May Day

First thing this morning, the boys dashed outside to wash their faces with dew - they loved doing this over and over again.

Later, we danced and sang around our May pole.

Then baked happy May fairy cakes.

  5. Wow, you guys were on it!
I almost forgot-- my excuse is that I was deathly ill yesterday, and still recuperating this morning.
I would have been so sad to have missed it, so I'm glad I didn't!

    Your cakes look deeeeeelicious!
    And your Maypole is beautiful!

  6. Hello Kelly

As always, you have created such memories. The look of joy is so rewarding. I am itching to dance around the May pole (the Spetember pole.)It Just does not sound right does it. We too celebrate spring day to the fullest. Have a lovely weekend dear friend.

  8. Thanks for all of your wonderful words and for visiting. It was lovely seeing the ribbons floating about in the wind and really such fun skipping round and round, winding the ribbons around the pole. Best of all - the excitement and happy singing from our children - nothing beats that! What a fun festival day.
