The three kings have reached baby Jesus.
For me, the New Year only really seems to begin once Epiphany has passed and the day after we take down our Christmas tree and all other Christmas decorations. The boys love being the three kings. This year, Sol was Caspar in green, Leo was Melchior in red, and little Noah was Balthazar in blue. They spent the day parading about in their crowns and capes and eating Three Kings cake.
A happy day! And now the New Year truly begins! Today, with a clean house, after a big clean up yesterday, we are going to sail our new year boats and make our wishes for the year and remember the year gone.
