We spent Christmas with lots of family at my sister's house. She and her husband and children live far out in the bush along the Zambezi River along the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. It is very hot there - always - and wild - people and landscape and animals!
Presents on Christmas Day beneath an indigenous Christmas tree.
At sunset, we drove to the banks of the river to watch the sun go down and roast marshmallows and play in the sand and water.

Kelly, I love these photos so much, they are full of joy and loveliness. The Christmas tree photo is lovely, everyone looks so busy and happy and what a wonderful tree. The river looks like somewhere just waiting to be explored. What a magical Christmas!
