Ice towers, icy lakes

Green Ice!  A duck weed covered pool frozen over.
During the cold spell we had, all the lakes and streams near us were iced over.
Wonderful to skim stones over the ice surfaces and to make ice towers.

  4. Beautiful pictures.
It must be so much colder where you are as we haven't had ice like that yet this winter.

  7. I love these photos Kelly, they make me smile so much :)

Mia, Tarka and Willow are fascinated by ice too and rush out to investigate the pond whenever it is icy. I think ice bashing is one of Tarka's favourite activities!

    Much love to you all
