Some of September

One of our young silkie hens started laying recently.  The first egg!
The grass in some of the pastures was cut and baled.  My boys had great games pretending to be hibernating hedgehogs.
Making grass animal sculptures.  This is a green sheep.
And here is one of the happy sheep in the field right next to our house.
Baling in progress and fun and games racing from bale to bale afterwards and leaping on them.

  1. Look at those huge big bales,, we cut our hay with a machete, leave it out on the grass to dry then load it in the pickup. The boys certainly have a big field to play in they look so happy in their new home,, we still haven't moved, still waiting for the plumber:( Happy days my friend! kisses to you Kellyxxx

  2. What a beautiful way to spend your time. Something about a field with bales, that just makes me want to run around. Happy days.
