Butterflies

We visited a beautiful little Butterfly Centre.  It was so special to spend time with all the most exquisite butterflies fluttering around us and even resting upon us at times.  We saw butterflies just starting to emerge, butterflies feeding, butterfly eggs and pupas..and we saw a lot of magic.

Did you know that some people call butterflies flying flowers or flying jewels and that the Ancient Greeks believed that butterflies were the souls of the dead flying to heaven.
