Spring around the farm

Time for preparing the soil and planting here on the farm. There is so much activity. Organic oats and wheat are being planted. These fields are right next to our house. It is a highlight of our year, when the tractors are busy at work. This year, the old red tractor has been retired and there is a younger new green tractor doing all the work.

As soon as the tractor starts to plough, the gulls, or crazy birds as the boys call them, appear from nowhere, and trail after the tractor in search of worms and other treats to be found in the newly turned soil.

Leo is the one that loves the big machinery the most!
