Collecting wood

With the cooler weather setting in, we decided to stock up on wood so off to the woods on the farm we went to collect wood.  We feel so blessed to be able to freely collect such a bounty of wood off the ground like this.  How we love those woods!  Sol has always collected sticks so as usual he set aside some interesting pieces for his collection.  Leo the Lion Heart - how strong that boy is! - was determined to collect the heaviest pieces he could manage.  We went home, all helped to unload the wood, and enoyed the warmth of the fire in the woodburner for the first time this autumn.
