We are striving towards creating a nutritional garden. We have lots of space yet water restrictions so the challenge is to grow what we can with the limited water we have. For now, we can rely on rainwater as the rains have been plentiful this summer season. We are drawing to the end of our wet/summer season and starting to enjoy some of our harvests.
Lots and lots of delicious Cape gooseberries (that I planted alongside the fence to the orchard) ripening aplenty.
Beautiful ladybird spotted on the gooseberries.
Leo shelling gooseberries.
We made gooseberry jam with our harvest. Finished in two days!
