Wish leaves

This week we collected up some big, old fallen leaves scattered on the cold ground left over from autumn.  We each wrote or drew pictures of our wishes and drams for the year on the leaves.  Then we tied a bit of gold thread around each and tied them to our winter bare pear tree.

Then we watched our dreams and wishes for the new year flutter and dance on the breeze.  So simple and so uplifting.

  7. Hi Carolyne
Some leaves had one wish per leaf and others were packed with lots of wishes per leaf. Whatever flowed!
It really was a lovely activity.
    Have a great weekend.
    Best wishes

  9. I can only imagine what your wishes are my friend, they will come true soon. Your trees are so bare and everything more golden, here it's so lush and green you wouldn't see our leaves if we placed them in the trees - I sit here writing in shorts and t-shirt, it's so warm in the middle of winter! Big kiss to youxxx
