St Nicholas Day

Well, the boys put their slippers out last night and hooray St Nicholas visited!  This year I needle felted St Nicholas.

The boys really enjoy the delightful St Nicholas stories by Christine Natale which can be found here.  I read some the day before and some on St Nicholas Day.  The boys chat and play out the stories each year!  Thank you so much Christine for your magical stories.  They bring much joy to my children and I am sure to so many other children.

  5. St. Nicholas is so beautifully made. I have thought many times to make one but forgot again! Too many things going on. The boys left their croc boots by the fireplace with the biggest carrots in (strange they built a fireplace in this house in DR) they wanted to get hay from the stables to but it was late. We had forgotten the clementines from the citrus fields but we had kept two small chocolates that we wrapped in colored tissue, it was all they were interested in anyway. Sania woke up around 5 to run to the fireplace, came back to the room, turned on the light and tipped it out to show me his chocolates. Very seldom do we have chocolate so this was very exciting for them.

How my boys would love all those puddles.

    Much lovexxx
