My Shadow

I love watching shadows.
They really are such an intriguing part of us. Our spirit self, always with us, reminding us of all our glory and magic. They tell their own enchanting story. One of my boys loves to play with his shadow. He likes to run along and watch his shadow dashing along beside him. It is so delighful to watch him. My other boy likes to jump on shadows...

Here is my shadow - mother and babe - me immersed in the baby years - such a part of who I am now.
What path is your shadow walking with you, keeping you company, always with you?

  5. Hello wonderful mama. It's a beautiful photograph. Myself and the boys were watching the big shadows of the clouds as they passed over the rolling hills before us just the other day.

  6. It's been so long since we played with or payed close attention to our shadows. I think that might change since reading this post!
    Have a wonderful day!

  8. I love my shadow these days too...my older two hopping to "step on mom", youngest on my hip, streched looong by the early morning sun as we wander down to collect the eggs...always shifting, sometimes a 4-headed blob, and at other times parts break off to dance down the lane. Very thought-provoking post!
