Blissful new baby days

Dear friends, thank you so much for all the heart-warming words of welcome on our new babe's arrival earthside. Each comment has been so very appreciated. This first week, with our Jediah joining the love that is our family, has passed in a blissful, tranquil, dreamy time. I have etched within my heart all these precious first days memories. We are all doing so well. I haven't had much time on the computer and miss visiting all of you but I'll get there!

Last week, on Earth Day we planted a tree above our babe's placenta - a placenta tree. We chose a magnolia tree as these trees hold special significance to me. We hope our boy will, as he grows to manhood, develop and maintain a close love and respect for the Earth and always care for her.

  11. So so sweet! I still have all our placentas in the freezer. I keep holding on to them till our forever home. Each of our kids has picked the tree they want to plant with it. So around and around I tote them! Congrats congrats for enjoying those first few weeks. They are so special.
