When the first flowers of early spring bloom, how it fills me with joy and anticipation. New life is awakening. This year it is even more precious to me as we are drawing closer and closer to the birth of our fourth babe in around 7 weeks time - a second spring baby. How excited I am getting to experience birth once again and to meet our little love.
The crocuses the boys planted on Autumn Equinox, in the pots they painted themselves, are starting to bloom.
There is a secret, hidden, magical spot in our woods which to us heralds that spring is coming. Each year we look in anticipation for the snowdrops and winter aconites to appear here.
It is a beautiful spot and the boys get so excited to see the flowers for the first time here. They get down on their bellies and admire and speak to the little flowers.
