On the evening of winter solstice we love to walk our advent spiral in the woods. Seems like the perfect setting and perfect day. A treasured evening for us.

We've had snow the last two days. A gentle covering.

Everywhere looks so beautiful so we've been walking and playing out and neglecting our Christmas planning which I am leaving to the fairies to organise for me!

Beautiful pictures! I love how your children share the season with the woodland creatures.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this just a glorious time of year??? I love how you included all the little animals around your home. :)
ReplyDeleteHow special! I love your advent traditions and LOVE the little beeswax figure on your Advent week 3 picture - so pretty! You are doing such an amazing job on all fronts, Kelly! I so enjoy following your days. And hugs right back at you for the lovely comment on my last blog post. We would have the most wonderful chat with lots of warm tea and goodies...Hugs, Jen

Good evening Kelly
ReplyDeleteOh my so much has happened since my last visit. I cannot believe the patterns the frost makes on windows...never seen that before. Your snowy pic's look peaceful. I have spotted some rosehips and will definitely make some tea and syrup. My Brogan would love that. I am sure those fairy's have some wonderful plans to help you out this Christmas... How wonderful to be so free. Enjoy your lovely days my friend. I will send you a merry Christmas mail soon.
Warm wishes to the free flowing little men.

ReplyDeleteI am so enjoying your blog - just found it today. We are waldorf-inspired home educators and where we live in Norfolk it is hard to connect with others of a similar inclination, so happy to have found an English blog to follow along. (Assuming you are in England?)
