Alphabet pictures and sewing bag

We've just finished working on our alphabet pictures together.
(Lots of inspiration from Waldorf Alphabet Book, Zonneveld and LMNOP, Schrager.)

And Sol's sewing bag. He loves sewing - it has taken him weeks to complete and he is so proud of it! Hessian on the outside, lined with blue felt and finger knitted strap. He keeps thread, needles, pins, buttons, small scissors and bits of felt in his bag.

  3. Oh Kelly, your alphabet paintings turned out darling. I love seeing them all lined up in a row like that. And Sol's bag is amazing! Wow - for such a little one, he's really got some talent. What a wonderful idea! I'd love to do this with my girls. Elena loves to sew so I bet she'd love to have her own bag of supplies! Thank you for the inspiration!

  5. Hi friends
Thank you for your lovely comments. Sol is so proud of his bag. It took him a long time to complete with minimal help from me and he put a lot of heart and care into making it. In just one day of putting the alphabet pictures up he learnt all by himself to say the alphabet A-Z. A special day!!! One I will always remember!!
Best wishes to each of you.
