We loved watching this happy, friendly little grey squirrel searching for cones and nuts..

Our favourite squirrel verse from the 'Autumn' Wynstones series..
The Squirrel
Whisky, frisky, hoppity hop,
Up he goes to the tree top!
Whirly, twirly, round and round,
Down he scampers to the ground.
Furly, curly, what a tail!
Tall as a feather, broad as a sail!
Where's his supper? In the shell.
Snappity, crackity, out it fell.
So sweet! We've been working towards hand feeding one of our regular squirrel visitors, now aptly named "Peanut."
ReplyDeleteI'm stalking squirrels for a good picture! With a blog named acorn pies, I think I need to have one! Beth
ReplyDeleteI so love watching squirrels. I desperately want one living in my Pine. :)
ReplyDeleteHi movinginspirals, How wonderful to have a squirrel friend regularly visiting you. Great name!
ReplyDeleteBeth, good luck with the squirrel stalking. That is funny!
Hi Stephanie,
We would absolutely love one to live in our garden too. We have one that has just started visiting so fingers crossed!
Such cuteness!
