Sunflower fields

This weekend, we visited my brother and sister in law.  They are both horticulturalists.  They showed us around beautiful fields of sunflowers.  Such vibrant, summer colours.  All those little suns shining their beauty around us.  Just wonderful!

  3. We have a small patch of sunflowers and I love to watch the birds gathering their breakfast from them. How fun to be able to play among an entire field...

  6. Hello Kelly

Oh yes! this has inspired me to make my sunflower house this Summer. So Magestic....They stand so proud for such a long time and then start becoming a little humble as they age and bow their heads to give us seed food...I love them

Have a great day. It has been a freezing week end for us. Your post has filled the soul.

  7. Dear Friends,
It certainly was a warm, happy place to visit and did fill the soul as Suzanne so aptly commented. What would summer be without sunflowers. We are so thankful we were able to see these fields.
Have a lovely, sunny day, everyone.
