We love berry picking! Wild black berries are ripe here in Georgia. I have a garden song I wrote called fresh tomatoes, I am trying to put it on my blog. New at this!
Oh to pick the berries in season...Kelly I bet your have a berry pie up your sleeve..With clotted cream! We are eagerly awaitng our Summer for our berries . I just love the white blossoms and all the bees.
These berries look so divine Kelly, I have always wanted to take the family berry picking, I think it is something we need to put on our 'to do list' soon for the summer.

Yes please!! I love berries...my oldest daughter declared yesterday morning as we were all snuggling in bed "my favorite food is summer fruit because all of the fruit that is in season at summer are my favorites!" I'm with her : ) Enjoy your delicious bounty!!

ReplyDeleteThey are gooseberries. Very tasty. We make gooseberry crumble or a tasty gooseberry cake but always best raw.
